Classical Guitarist
Audrey Oden began playing guitar at the age of 11 in her hometown of Oklahoma City, OK. Her first formal training came from Classen School of Advanced Studies, where she graduated with a performing arts diploma. She continued studying guitar at the collegiate level at Oklahoma City University and earned a Master of Music degree in Classical Guitar Performance and a Performance Certificate from the University of Denver. Now, she is a DMA student at the University of Oklahoma. She holds prizes from multiple guitar festivals, including 2nd prize at the San Antonio
International Guitar Festival and Competition and 3rd prize at GuitarFest West in Calgary, AB. She received 4th prize at Twisted Spruce Guitar Competition for the performance of the new composition "Three Little Preludes" (2023) by Cooper Wood, which will be published later this year. Currently, she lives in Oklahoma City where she performs and teaches guitar lessons.
In private lessons, she aims to help students play with ease, regardless of level. She does this by addressing technical concerns and improving music comprehension and fluency. Additionally, she emphasizes music theory and fretboard harmony to guitarists of all levels.
I play gigs anywhere from restaurants to concert halls. I can arrange and perform a variety of different music for your events. I also have a preselected gig music for any event you feel needs classical guitar.

My transcription of Fantasia 34 "La Compagna" by Francesco da Milano for classical guitar. This piece uses the same motive from Fantasia 33 by Francesco, which is why it is called "La Compagna."
